• A Japanese comedy online manga/anime taking place
around the time of World War II. All of its characters
represent modern day countries, such as Kiku
Honda(Japan), Ludwig(Germany), and Feliciano(Italy).
• All the characters are the stereotypes of their countries.
Such as Alfred(America) is often seen eating
cheeseburgers, Heracles(Greece) loves cats,
Feliciano(Italy) is addicted to pasta, and the most
infamous one: Francis(France) is the extreme bisexual
hopeless romantic.
• It was originally going to be aired on TV, but Korean
protesters found its portrayal of the Korea character(Im
Young Soo) to be offensive.(So it was canceled.)

36. What is Lolita Fashion?
• A fashion subculture that originated in Japan that is
based on Victorian-era clothing and costumes from the
Rococo period.
• The Lolita look began primarily as one of modesty with a
focus on quality in both material and manufacture of
garments.
• The original silhouette is of a knee length skirt or dress
with a 'cupcake' shape assisted by petticoats, but has
expanded into various types of garments including
corsets and floor length skirts. Blouses, knee high socks
or stockings and headdresses are also worn.

• Gothic Lolita/GothLoli - Combination of Gothic and Lolita
Fashion. It is characterized through darker make-up and
clothing.
• Sweet Lolita/Ama-Loli -Styles are heavily influenced by
Rocco, Victorian, and Edwardian clothing. Often
characterized by using lighter colors and child-like motifs in
designs.
• Classic Lolita – A more mature style of Lolita that focuses
on Rococo, Regency, and Victorian styles. The colors and
patterns are a mix of Sweet and Gothic styles.
• Punk Lolita -This style of Lolita adds punch elements to
Lolita fashion: tattered fabrics, ties, chains, plaids and
