2. AUTOMATION
Automation is basically the delegation of human control
functions to technical equipment mainly aimed towards
achieving:
Higher productivity.
Superior quality of end product.
Efficient usage of energy and raw materials.
Improved safety in working conditions etc.
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is an industrial
computer that monitors inputs, makes decisions based
on its program and controls outputs to automate a
process or machine.
3. INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION
The use of Computerized or robotic devices to
complete manufacturing tasks.
The automation of many different processes, such as controlling
machines or factory assembly lines, is done through use of small
computers called a Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

In recent days we find a lot of people working in industry to get work
done which uses a lot of human power.
Human resource has to be effectively used to reduce man’s stress and
efforts??? Right..So,the PLC’s are very much needed in today’s modern
world to emphasize our development towards technology.
5. IMPACT IN NEXT FIVE YEARS ??
To reduce human efforts .
To get maximum efficiency from machine and control them with
human logic .
To reduce complex circuitry of entire system .
To eliminate the high costs associated with inflexible, relay-controlled
systems.
6. AREAS OF INTEREST
I am very much interested in developing some automated products
which replace human operators control & automation job in a single
machine & it increases up to full automation of manufacturing / testing
process in a factory.
The PLC’s(Programmable Logic Controller) can be efficiently and
effectively implemented in dangerous environments and beyond human
capabilities like Food and Beverages,Travel Industry,Aerospace etc.
I has some experience in developing basic robots using PLC’s viz.,
using microcontroller and keil software.
My objective is to lay down a path for my career and to achieve your
company’s plans and goals.
If given a chance, I would like to develop some smart controllers using
PLC’s which serve us in industries, houses, construction areas etc.,
which are fast and accurate thereby improving productivity and quality.
