Designed to outmaneuver the enemy rather than attacking him head on. Uses concentrated tank forces supported by mobile infantry, artillery and close air support assets. Used a decentralized command structure Knock out an enemy's communications, supply, and morale Move faster than your enemy can think. In combat, blitzkrieg forced slower defending forces into defensive pockets that were encircled and by the armored units then destroyed by following Germaninfantry.
