2. Analyze the Learner
• Teaching about the respiratory system to 4th
graders
• There are 20 students, 10 girls and 10 boys.
• There are 8 Hispanics, 4 African Americans
and 8 Caucasians.
3. Main Objective
• The students will describe the Respiratory System’s
functions and how it works after looking at diagrams,
participating in class discussion, creating a fake
Facebook, seeing videos and podcasts, using
Photoshop, using other websites such as wiki and
blogs, as well as creating a working robot by the end
of the week with 90% accuracy.
4. Day by Day
• Monday- I will introduce the Respiratory System.
• Tuesday- Students will learn the Respiratory System song, create a
fake Facebook page, and start working on their robots.
• Wednesday- Students will read wiki and listen to podcast.Then
continue to work on their robots.
• Thursday- Students will go to twitter to create poster about
Respiratory care.
• Friday- Students will have a test then present robots.
5. Use ofTechnology
• Students will use robotics, blogs, Zello,
posters, worksheets,YouTube, wiki,Twitter,
and podcasts.
