Evaluation
Strengths of EVAS
• Thanks to e-Visa Application System, we reach out to
thousands of people who do not have a Turkish
mission in their vicinity. Contributes to trade/tourism.
• EVAS is available 24/7. Single point of trust.
• An e-Visa application can be created wherever an
uninterrupted internet connection exists.
• Family application and group application have been
intregrated in the system for ease of use.
• Payment of e-Visa fee (single currency USD) by credit
or debit card has been included in the system.
• Questions and suggestions of applicants are replied to
over e-Visa Support Desk (24/7) module. All feedback
received from users are being used to improve the
system.
• German, Spanish, Polish languages added. First
impression, best impression.
• Speed/security balance optimized.
Obstacles that we had to overcome
• Local practices did not make much sense for the users
in some cases. For instance, some users did not want
to enter their parents’ names in the related fields.
• Date format could not be understood by some
applicants.
• Some users did not want to fill in the ‘Surname’ field
since they do not have a surname.
