Introduction
If you've spent any amount of time online buying information type
products, then you have no doubt come across one of these beauties - the
infamous $10 profit plan products. These aren't just any ordinary 10
buck products mind you. These are products that will continually earn
you those profits consistently over and over again for as long as you sell
or distribute them.
Why do I use both words sell and distribute? Well, because many times,
such $10 products are commonly given away, free of charge, even
though, they can also be sold for a small profit. In fact, the preferred
method for these plans is to offer your products freely.
But, if you offer such products for free, how on earth can you earn any
money from them? That's the ingenious part! And I'm going to explain
how it's done right now so you can use this technique also to earn
autopilot $10 profits without putting forth any further effort past creating
the product itself.
The $10 profit plan is about creating a free ebook or special report that
discusses a particular product for which you will be an affiliate. If the
report is good quality and you allow other people to share it, you will
effectively have created a free viral product for you to earn commissions
from as it is distributed by others.
If you have your own products to sell, an alternative approach, using the
same viral tactic is to promote them in your free report.
The next component of the strategy we are discussing is to understand
that it is much, much easier to get a person to part with $10 than it would
be to get them to spend, say, $100 on a single product. Of course, to earn
the $100 from a $10 product, you would need to sell 10 of them in

contrast to selling just one of the higher priced product. But that goal is
easily attainable with the lower cost involved for your customers.
Now, before we get into this process, I must explain something to you
about these types of products. You may be thinking, "This has got to be
some sort of 'scam' like an MLM or Pyramid Scheme". But I assure you,
it isn't at all. Once you read on a bit further, you will understand
perfectly. Every technique explained within this ebook is 100% legal as
you are providing products or services in return for your customers'
payments.
With that all said, let's begin discussing five major $10 profit plans – we
call them the Infamous Profit Plans because they are wicked (in a good
way, I mean) - that reliably achieve success for their creators over and
over again. We'll also look at good examples of each one to further drive
home the methods. Of course, there are many more profit plan examples
scattered about the internet, but these are the five we will be focusing
our attention on.
We'll begin with the most well known, and most profitable $10 profit
plan product and move on to the other not so common forms.

The Rebrand Plan
What a well used plan this is! However, if you have not come across it
before, you might be amazed by the sheer simplicity yet effectiveness of
this simple plan. Let's begin with a short explanation of what a 'rebrand
product' is.
A rebrandable product is one that you allow those who receive it from
you (or another source such as someone else who shared it) to change
specific aspects of the product. These are usually defined areas within
the product that can be changed to reflect another person's name, web
site name or URL link, affiliate links - things of this nature. These
"rebrandable" areas are pre-formatted by the product's author or creator.
A quick example of a "rebrandable" area of your product might look
something like this:
This Product is Brought to You by:
[Your Name]
[Your Website URL Link]
Each person that has been granted the right to change this small area, or
"rebrand" it with their own personal, or business, information, will often
times pay a fee for this right. Guess who collects that fee? The
author/creator does! And you never have to do anything past
redistributing it to other people who do all the difficult "leg work" for
you.
Think of it like this …
You sell the normal, non-brandable version of your info product to your
customer. That's already positive cash into your account. Then, after this
customer buys your product, they discover that for a one time fee, they

can add their name and site URL within the product before they resell it,
or give it away for free. That is the process of "rebranding".
The appeal of a product that is rebrandable is that your customer will
have the ability to possess their own little traffic generation system
within a product they did not have to create. And each time they sell, or
give away, a copy of the product to their customers, their business
information will be seen. All for a small, one time, $10 fee. Which of
course, YOU collect. But, this fee collection need not end there with
your customers.
Here's a short scenario to illustrate what I mean. . .
Your customer gets a copy of your rebrandable product, whether free or
paid for. They open it up, begin to read and discover that they can
replace your name and URL link with their own generating more traffic
for them. So, they pay you the $10 fee for the rebranding tool to change
the specific area of information, affiliate links, etc which allows them to
use your product to create traffic and earn extra money. Now, after they
have rebranded the product, they begin to follow the same process you
followed by either reselling the product, or giving it away for free to
their customers.
Once their customers receive a copy, they also open it and begin to read,
and they too come across the same opportunity to rebrand their newly
acquired version for a mere $10 fee. So, they decide that they also would
like to have a new traffic generation, money earning product. And they
also pay the rebranding fee, which of course, goes directly to YOU.
Logically, not everyone that receives a copy of your product will want to
rebrand it. But, even if they don't, while your information stays in place
within the product, you can still be driving traffic back to your site! Plus,
if you have affiliate links within it, then that's a chance you will earn
commissions from those links as well.

Understand as well, that some authors will give, away without charge,
the product and the rights to rebrand it. You may be wondering why they
do this. Well the reason is quite simple really. The author wants to make
his/her product even more desirable to all his prospects i.e. those that
he/she hopes to convert into customers somewhere down the line. So,
they give away something with a higher perceived value (the rebrand
rights) in addition to the product itself.
There are very many web masters looking for good quality content for
their own visitors so, as you have done all the hard work for them, it
stands to reason that people will download, rebrand and freely
redistribute reports with rebrand rights. This process gets your products
into the hands of many more people than you could possibly have
reached on your own.
But, how can you earn any money from such a product? As briefly
discussed earlier, one way is by including affiliate links inside the free
product. Many, many online internet marketers earn lots of extra money
by doing this and really, anyone else can do it ... including you.
This type of information product is usually provided in PDF format and
generally discusses one specific topic or subject. In many cases, they
include product reviews that recommend other products for which the
author is an affiliate. It takes a bit of skill to create reports that offer
value (very important) and, in addition, provide useful reviews for
related products and services.
To obtain rebrandable products, the SmartRebrander (free) service is a
very useful resource. There is also a paid subscription option that you
can also use to create your own rebrandable products too.

The Payment Plan
What this one consists of is creating a simple little product, most
commonly an executable format (exe) ebook which contains a bit of
content explaining what the ebook’s main objective is, and a link within
it to purchase the right to place the recipient's own payment link within
the book. Again the idea involves getting other people to subsequently
share the book, getting distribution of your work for free.
The reason for the use of the executable (exe) format book in this plan is
so you can include things such as payment link buttons that can be
changed and 'pointed' to whomever's merchant account. Not only that,
but with this approach, you can make content available with an "unlock"
code that you can deliver after the payment is made.
Some of these things can be done within a PDF file, but you can do a lot
more with books delivered as executable (exe) files. For example, you
can put "lead capture" forms within your books rather than having to
provide a link to a lead capture web page. That said, there is no doubt
that books delivered as executable (exe) files have become far less
popular in recent years because of concerns about the possibility of
viruses being distributed within them.
However, exactly the same plan can be applied to other types of content
that you would naturally be delivered in executable (exe) format. For
example software. Here's how it works. You create a piece of software
that performs a useful function (very important) and the software
includes a payment button/link that allows people to purchase an
upgrade to a higher level of performance – kind of basic version and
elite version as it were.
The help section in the software tells people that they can benefit from
by collecting $10 payments from everyone to whom they redistribute

their software. However, in order to change the payment button/link to
point to their own merchant account (such as PayPal) they must first pay
you their $10 fee - the charge for the payment link change and the
rebranding tool necessary to make this change. How cool is that?
Remember too that these products could contain rebrandable links and
messages such as "Brought to You by …" or "Distributed by …" that
includes THEIR name (i.e. your customer's name) which increases the
perceived value of your product to your buyers. And, in addition, they
could also include URL links that you control. So there is a lot you can
achieve, in terms of traffic generation by making use of these methods.
If you are a programmer, you can quite easily create software that
includes the above functionality. If you are not a programmer, just pay
someone with the necessary skills to create software for you. You would
be amazed at how cheaply you can get people to write software for you -
take a look at the Elance marketplace as an example of where to find the
right kind of people. There are other, similar marketplaces online and
you can easily find them with a bit of Googling.
While not everybody will like this type of $10 profit product, it is very
effective and, there have been plenty of variations on the idea. But all of
them operate on the same basic principle i.e to earn you 10 bucks for
every person who wants to collect those 10 dollar bill payments instead
of you.

The Upsell Plan
We previously discussed software that comes in different versions (basic
and elite). You could have more than two versions, of course; for
example, you could have a demo version, a standard version, and a pro
version. The idea is that you can download the demo version for free or,
at the very least, try it out before you decide whether or not it's useful
enough to purchase.
Sometimes, such software will no longer function after a specific
amount of time. Then you have no choice but to purchase it if you wish
to continue using it that is. This approach is technically an upsell. Major
software companies do it and so do smaller software creators and they
do it because … this method works!
But, the thing is, software isn't the only "upsell-able" digital product you
could provide. You can use exactly the same approach with other info
product packages too. You could compile several info-products, be they
ebooks, software, scripts, web templates etc, or some combination of
them, into packages that are readily downloadable by your customers.
You separate freely downloadable content from the upsell/upgrade
content that you will upsell.
You could create an "upgrade" member's area that contains more
products for which your reader must pay a small one time fee to access.
People download your free stuff from your web site and, within the
package, they discover the links to your upsell for the larger, more
luxurious, more complete, more functional upgrade offering. Get the
idea? It's the same basic idea as for software except that you are
applying the principle to other types of information product.
Again, you are giving away your free product bundle up-front, but the

The Resell Plan
No profit plan manual would be complete without this little gem. You
may know this one by heart if you are in the resell rights industry. If not,
you will want to pay very close attention to this plan because it is an
extremely effective way to earn easy money in a short amount of time.
Now, you must understand that when I use the term "easy money" what
I am referring to is the fact that you need not have a physical product
which obviously takes a lot more effort to sell, deliver and support. In
that sense, it is easy. NEVER, believe that creating and selling digital, or
intangible, products is an easy task. It is not. However, with a little bit of
intellectual elbow grease, you can certainly do it too!
But this plan is very straightforward: you simply create and sell your
own stuff but, you include the right for other people to resell the
products you create – this is known as 'Resale Rights'. A slight variation
is that you could include 'Master Resale Rights' – the right to resell AND
also to pass on Resale rights. The important thing to understand here is
that products that include either Resale Rights or Master Resale Rights
have a higher perceived value which means they are much easier for
YOU to sell in the first place!
To explain the entire process of creating your own digital information
product, is a little beyond the scope of this introductory manual.
However, you can get all the information you need on this process by
downloading a copy of Public Domain Profits.
An alternative to creating your own products, of course, is to simply
resell other people's offerings. Simply purchase information product(s)
that come with "Master Resell Rights" as a part of your purchase. You
have the most freedom in reselling this type of product and the best
chance of making a sale too. The reason is that with a "Master Resell

The OTO Plan
Whether you have actually heard of this profiting plan by name, I can
almost guarantee you that you've come across it. This is one of the most
ingenious back-end profit pulling plans you can use to boost your overall
income. And, here's the reason why: when you use the "OTO", or One
Time Offer, plan, you are offering something to someone who has
already had enough trust in you to make a purchase or, at very least, sign
up for a free offer. So, a lot of the hard work of engaging with your
prospect is already done.
This method works by showing a mid-section page to your customers
half-way through the ordering process. Huh?! Okay, you know that
whenever you place an order online for a product you must go through
the payment process, be it PayPal, ClickBank, 2CheckOut, or a similar
system? Then, once the payment portion is completed, you are
redirected to the thank you page where you can retrieve your product.
In between those two pages (order page and thank you page) is where
you place your OTO page and, since your customer has often already
spent money with you by this stage, this is the perfect opportunity to sell
to them again, while they're in the buying mood.
You can use a separate product offer with special discounted pricing, an
upsell for the product you are currently selling that your customer has
just purchased, etc. All that information will go on that OTO page. You
place two buttons at the foot of your OTO page so your customer can
choose to either accept your offer, or reject it.
Either way, you win: they either purchase the basic product or the
enhanced offering and, of course, the idea is that with the OTO you earn
a little bit more.

Realize too, that this isn't the only way you can use the OTO plan
though. Everyone has experienced the dreaded 404/File error from time
to time. So, why not customize the 404 error page on your web site to
show a OTO? Many successful marketers have done this and made what
would otherwise be a lost sale; an easy way to profit from a mistake.
But the 404 page is just an idea to get you thinking. There are lots of
ways you could get people to your OTO pages when you start to think
about it. For example, free giveaways. You could place an OTO offer
inside the freebie download process; before your visitor's sign up is
complete, show them your special, discounted OTO. You never know; it
might just interest them. So don’t undervalue your freebie customers.
Yes, they are effectively just browsers when they sign-up for a freebie,
but some of them will also be buyers who will appreciate a great money
saving offer.

The Plan to Avoid
There are plenty of scammers out there just waiting for a 'sucker' to
come along and help them fill up their bank accounts. And, it could just
be YOU if you don't know what to watch out for. That's why I've
included a profit plan you need to avoid.
This plan has been around for years and it operates both online and
offline. Incredibly, although it is now illegal in many parts of the world,
there are unscrupulous individuals who have found ways around these
legal difficulties and they are running schemes online. At the time of
writing, they show no sign of disappearing any time soon.
A simple example from a few years back was a scheme that paid $5
payments into your bank or PayPal account by only spending $5 and
paying the first person on the list – a bit like a chain letter. It is important
for you to understand that this is NOT the same kind of thing that we
have been discussing. All of our plans offer real value to our customers.
This type of scam however, offers nothing but the promise of money –
and that's how you can identify it i.e. there is no product involved or no
genuine product.
This plan more commonly referred to as a Ponzi or Pyramid Scheme, not
to be confused with MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) though some
schemes are indeed effectively masquerading as MLM programs. With
this type of plan (Ponzi or Pyramid) the creator isn't exactly offering a
real product, but rather, a way to earn money from others who join in on
this "pay-to-play" set up. Most payment gateways, for example PayPal,
frown upon these schemes and will definitely terminate your account if
you are found to be doing this sort of thing.
Some of these "easy money" plan merchants have found very sneaky
ways around the difficulties; for example, to have you include a note

with your payment to the effect that you are purchasing a subscription to
their mailing list, or newsletter. In and of itself, that may not be illegal
(though remember, this is not legal advice). Many newsletters have paid
subscriptions that allow access to information that is mailed to you. But
some of these guys don't have a newsletter to begin with or when they
do, it is really just a smokescreen for the payment activities to hide
behind.
While I personally DO NOT endorse this type of program, it's important
to include it here, firstly, to make you aware of it so that you don't fall
into this type of scheme and end up losing your money. However, a
second reason to include it here is to make sure you clearly understand
the difference between the plans we have been speaking about in this
book and the pyramid thing!
What we have been talking about is delivering real value to your
customers by providing them with something that they really want or
need to achieve their own goals. Many of the plans contained in this
little book include the basic idea that you can allow people to distribute
your products in return for a fee, so they do tap into some of the same
kind of basic motivations for why and how you can get people to
distribute your products for you.
But there is a BIG difference!
The difference is that YOU are delivering real value. Make sure that the
products you create do truly offer genuine value or, if you purchase
products with the intention of reselling them, make sure they are the
kind of things that you would be proud to call your own. Offer genuinely
helpful, quality products and you will not go wrong.

Well, now that you know about the five different ways in which you can
increase your bottom line $10 at a time, you should try to utilize them
within your business plan. Believe me, it may seem at first like a lot of
work to setup these plans, but over time, you will reap the benefits as
your income steadily increases month on month.
As TESCO say, "every little helps" and these small payouts will give a
nice little kick to your bank account. Remember, it is much easier to get
a cold prospect (a complete stranger after all) to part with a small dollar
amount, like $10 to get fast access to helpful information, than it is to
have them trust you enough to shell out $100 or more.
