2. WHAT FINANCE ACTUALLY IS?
 Finance is science of management.
 Finance is a field within economics that deals with the allocation
of assets and liabilities over time under conditions of certainty and
uncertainty.
 A key point in finance is the time value of money, which states that
one unit of currency today is worth more than one unit of currency
tomorrow.
 One learn about the capital markets and the financing decisions that
businesses and organisations need to make.

3. REASONS TO STUDY FINANCE
 Finance plays an involved role in the health of the overall economy,
which impacts everyone, regardless of whether or not they have
studied finance.
 Like companies, individuals are faced with investment
and financing decisions. Having a firm grasp of finance will help
individuals make those decisions.
 All businesses functions deal with finance because they need to be
able to make the financial argument for the funding of their projects
and to manage their budgets.

4. MY GOOD REASONS TO GO WITH FINANCE?
I can eventually fund my dream job or business.
I can start my own business.
I can become an investor.

5. OTHER CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
 When you complete an undergraduate degree, you might decide to

manager.
