  1. Have participants write on post-it notes what they think innovation is
  2. 3D construction challenge
  3. Can either collaborate or work alone on construction
  4. Participants write on post-it notes the characteristics of an innovator
  5. Give participants a foam or paper cup with hole in bottom. They have write as many problems they see in the community. They look into the cup through the hole and say what they can see.
  6. Give each group a flipchart sheet and they have to write the 3 most common problems everyone in the group wrote on the foam or paper cup.
  7. Participants turn their cups around and look through it again
  8. Now the students look at the problem and say how much of the word they can see
  9. If the participants were super heroes. How would they look at the problems and come up with solutions
  10. How many of their problems they wrote down within their groups were actually global problems
  11. How many participants actually mentioned poverty?
  12. How many participants actually mentioned health?
  13. How many participants actually mentioned education?
  14. How many participants actually mentioned finance?
  15. How many participants actually mentioned infrastructure?
  16. What do you need to bear in mind when innovating for the world?
  17. Groups present back their solutions
  18. Help participants to think of global solutions
  19. Give participants chewing gum to help them chew on their problems
  20. Participants come up with solutions the groups problems and it has to be global solutions
  21. Groups give feedback to the larger group
