National Aviation Security Program
requires from the operator:
1.Coordination and implementation of security measures and processes
at the airport.
2.Execution of security measures leading toward prevention and
protection of civil aviation against unlawful acts in area of access
control, security checks of people, baggage, cargo, mail, catering and on-
board supplies.

• 100% of perimeter are fenced and physicaly guarded
• 85% of the perimeter are secured by ground radar
• 100% access control to all non-public areas
• 100% passengers and baggage screening
• 100% staff screening when entering security restricted
areas
– Systems and devices in use:
• Advanced security screening equipment including EDS
• BRS system in operation since 1997
• Security Surveillance System - CCTV (app. 1 200 cameras)
• Electronic Access Control System (app. 560 card readers)
• Ground Radar System – perimeter protection

national legislation, especially:
• EC Regulation No. 300/2008 and 185/2010
• Civil Aviation Law (No. 49/1997 Coll.)
• Aviation Regulation L-17 including
• National Security Programmes
– Standards and Recommendations of ICAO and ECAC are fully respected
– Airport Security Programme is coordinated with Police and Customs
and approved by Ministry of Transport
– All security equipment undergoes standard certification process
– All security screening staff is fully trained and certified
