14. CONCLUSIONS ABOUT STUDENTS’ SURVEYS
• For question number three “Activities that I like
in the English class”, the majority of the
students assert about two activities; talking and
listening.
• For question number eight ““What kind of
activities does your teacher use?”, it is clear
from the students answer, the use of the
traditional material.
15. • For question number nine “I suggest to the
teacher to…”, certainly it is concluded that the
students suggest to the teachers “apply more
dynamic activities”.
16. RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT STUDENTS’ SURVEYS
• For question number three“Activities that I like
in the English class”, as teachers it is essential
to realize what kind of activities students like.
• For question number seven “Your teacher uses
activities during the English class…” facing
the consideration of the students who qualify the
activities “boring”, it is recommended the use of
different activities, techniques and strategies.
17. • For question number ten ¨Ludic activities
contribute to motivate and improve academic
performance and learning in the second
Language Acquisition because¨ , students
think about the benefits of the ludic activities for
a better academic performance in the acquisition
of a second language.
18. CONCLUSIONS ABOUT TEACHERS’ SURVEYS
• For question number four ¨ In your
opinion, what is the biggest difficulty
(if
any) to teach it?¨, it is concluded that there is a
variety of troubles when teaching English.
• For question number six ¨ Before taking part in
this research, had you ever used any ludic
activities in your lessons?¨, it is important to
mention that most of the teachers apply the use
of playful activities sometimes.

positive aspects do ludic activities
provoke in students learning?¨, it is
concluded that teachers consider ludic
activities positive aspects which facilitate
the students’ learning process.
20. RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT TEACHERS’ SURVEYS
• For question number four ¨ In your
opinion, what is the biggest difficulty (if any)
to teach it? ¨, it is suggested to The MEP to think
on certain changes to improve English teaching.
• For question number six ¨ Before taking part in
this research, had you ever used any ludic
activities in your lessons?¨, it is recommended
for teachers to look and search for new
techniques.
21. • For question number nine ¨ Which positive
aspects do ludic activities provoke in
students learning?¨, it is suggested that the
educative institutions focus on the importance of
adopting strategies which improve the teaching
quality.
• About the teachers’ formation it is suggested to
the universities which have the challenge to
prepare English teachers to improve the
programs in two important aspects.
23. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
• To establish the importance of using ludic activities
in English teaching for a successful learning.
• To suggest some ludic strategies, techniques and
activities for developing the four skills in English
teaching.
• To appoint some recommendations in order to get
better results when playful activities are used.
24. PURPOSE
To make conscious about the need of using ludic
activities to get an effective learning when
teaching English for high school students:
