The purpose of this research is to study satisfaction and behavior in consumer beauty aids
dietary supplements such as fish protein extract products , Co enzyme Q-10 combination products ,
Vitamin E , Vitamin C , Evening primrose oil , Grape seeds extract , etc. by studying the effect of
demographic differentiation toward consumer behavior and satisfaction in buying beauty aids
dietary supplements. The effect of product satisfaction price and cost effective satisfaction , Safety in
using satisfaction , Promotion satisfaction , toward total satisfaction in consuming beauty dietary
supplements.
The tools which were use in this research are questionnaires . The parametric sample are
consumers who buy beauty aids dietary supplement in Bangkok Metropolitan area , amount 410
persons . Sampling technique is refer to systematic sampling technique , the sampling areas are set
to chain drug stores 21 branches around Bangkok metropolitan area . The statistic technique which
were used are percentage , Mean standard deviation , Mean comparison technique , Independent
t-test , One way analysis of Variance (ANOVA) , Multiple comparison by using Least Significant
Different (LSD) technique. Analyzing the factors which effect to consuming beauty aid satisfaction
by using Multiple regression technique and the analyzing the relation between consuming
satisfaction toward behavior and behavior trend to buy beauty aids dietary supplement the
technique which were used is correlation.
The results of this research are found that most of sample are female , age between 19-29
year old , education level mostly are bachelor degree , Marriage status mostly are single ,
occupation mostly are private company employee , Income level mostly are 10,000 – 20,000 bath
per month.
The most found reasons is buying beauty aids dietary supplement are for nourish skin , the
frequency in buying mostly are just buy only one time , followed with every 3 month , the period
which had consumed mostly are 6 month and 6 month to 1 year respectively , the buying source
mostly are general pharmacy stores followed with chain drug stores , the product which consumers
mostly use are vitamin C followed with fish protein extract products and Evening primrose oil
respectively and the average expense in buying beauty aids dietary supplement in 1,481.70 bath .
The result of hypothesis testing which using multiple regression technique found that
product satisfaction have a most synergistic relation with total satisfaction in consumer dietary aids
supplements follow with place to buy satisfaction , price and cost effective satisfaction and safety
7. satisfaction respectively and the excluded factor is promotion satisfaction which not have relations
each others.
The comparison of satisfaction mean among demographic factors found the difference of
occupations cause the difference satisfaction means when analyze to details found the business
owners had highest satisfaction n consumer beauty aids dietary supplements than private firm
employee and consumers which education level below bachelor and bachelor degree both have
highest satisfaction mean than the one with highest bachelor degree .
The relations analyzing between a consuming satisfactions and buying behavior found product
satisfaction price and cost effective satisfaction Promotion satisfaction Place to buy satisfaction
have synergistic relation to buying behavior which present correlation value in 0.308 , 0.305, 0.186,
0.157 respectively at the significant level 0.05 .
The analyzing of consuming satisfaction toward buying trend of beauty aids dietary
supplement found that Product satisfaction safety satisfaction Price and Cost effective satisfaction
Promotion satisfaction Place of distribution satisfaction have synergistic relation to buying trend
Product satisfaction safety satisfaction Promotion satisfaction Place of distribution
satisfaction have relation trend to continue to buy .
Product satisfaction safety satisfaction Promotion satisfaction, Place of distribution
satisfaction, have relations to advise products to other people and friends to buy.
Problems and advices from the consumers were found the problems which consumers
mostly notice are the products were too expensive , Over claims
The advices from consumers mostly are Should advise other products which can use
together and reduce price.
