AT&T has been in the M2M market place for a number of years and is the leading provider of M2M 
connectivity in the US. AT&T is constantly broadening its M2M services portfolio with new 
application integration, development, and management solutions, as well as enhanced global 
roaming capabilities to help companies across various industries curb IT costs, complexity and 
time to market. In 2014, we calculate that the company has 9.2 million M2M endpoints. 
6.1.1 How is AT&T Maximising Their Service Delivery Potential? 
AT&T is increasingly forming partnerships with companies that specialize in M2M technology to 
offer customers more options for development, enterprise integration and management of M2M 
solutions. Compared to other service providers, we find AT&T more adept at driving new business 
through partnerships, as opposed to striving for unmitigated control over its operations. 
In 2010, AT&T announced the extension of an agreement with KORE Telematics, AT&T's largest 
Value Added Reseller of M2M network services, to support wireless data services through AT&T 
Control Center, powered by Jasper Wireless.
