Coordinate and Facilitate Training Programmes for Community Members. Identify
exact training needs among the different groups in the settlement areas, with specific
reference to previously neglected, formal areas and all community grouping. Evaluate and
determine the shortcomings and training needs of all Community Groupings registred at the
Municipal Council.

4. Facilitate the drafting of training manuals in consultation with the different stakeholders.
Identify in close collabortion with the intended beneficiaries, potential trainees by way of
nominations and elections. Draws up training schedules with specific time frames for
submission to Management and beneficiaries. Monitors and evaluates the training process
and addresses any deviations and shortcomings detected by way of recommendations for
imrpovements of the procedures. Designs Certificates of attendance, achievements and
best trainee/s for handing over to participants upon completion of training. Plan and budget
for such training on annual basis. Arranges for payment of trainers, if training was

Disaster Management Assistance. Assist victims in floods or burns and other disasters.
Provide disaster management information to the community and relevant stakeholders.
Serve on the Regional Disaster Risk Management Committeee (RDRMC).
Youth Development and Establishment of Junior Council. Work in close collaboration
with different stakeholders and support groups on Youth development Programmes.
Arranges meetings with School principals of the different High Schools for the
establishment of a Junior Council. Organise a weekend leadership training Camp for
nominated Junior Council members. Liase with the different Trainers to provide training.
Plan and budget for such training on annual basis. Arranges for payment of trainers if
