2. The main image of Dizzee Rascal links to the main cover
where he is the main image. The image does not use direct
address and uses a mid shot.
The main image anchors the headline as he is ‘tagging’ in the
image. The image denotes how he wasn’t doing good things
when he was younger however it connotes that he has always
been creative.
The layout of the double page spread is a bit like a grid
on the right side as the whole left side uses an image.
The right side has been separated with the top half with
the headline and the bottom half with text and images.
For the text they have used columns which have been
separated equally and all paragraphs are around the
same length.
The font size is quite large for the headline so it pops out but the texts is much smaller . The space
used has been used well as it looks organised and there is no dead space, Also the text used suits the
target audience.
The background from the image is carried over to the other side but has been blurred so that you can
see the text. The bright colours have been used well with lighter colours.
The images used have been placed in good positons. The images under the text of a radio and beer
bottles show which kind of target audience this magazine is aimed at as it shows the target audiences
lifestyle of drinking and listening to music.
In the bottom left
they have used the
NME masthead.
The layout, pictures

spread look really
