Innovative Metallurgical Solutions Limited is an
authorised & licensed operating company utilising
the Advanced Mineral Recovery Technologies
(“AMRT”) patented process.
AMRT has a proprietary technology for treating the
waste streams from mining and smelting
operations whereby the valuable metal content is
recovered while the potentially hazardous waste is
converted to an environmentally-inert slag.

The technology is broadly applicable: virtually all
mining & smelting works creates waste in the form
of dust, fines or slag.
IMS utilising this technology provides a very highefficiency and high yield process ideal for smelting
primary ore, fines and waste streams on a small to
medium scale.
It is ideally suited for environmental and
sustainable development initiatives. It is a “clean
tech” process which can beneficiate smaller
resources at source.

 Can smelt primary ores, waste streams and fines
(without the need for pelletization or
agglomeration). Environmental clean-up in situ.
 Robust hardware, small AC electric arc furnaces
ranging from 1 – 5 MVA. Static and or mobile.
 Batch processing, better efficiencies and control.
 Flexible and adaptable, can process a host of
minerals with very short change-over times
including ferro-alloys & base metals.


Red Mud Clean Up - EU funded programme.
Utilising AMRT patented process for the clean up of the Alumina waste material –
Red Mud.
A 4 year programme i.e. ENEXAL has been successfully campaigned converting
the waste into saleable pig iron and rock wool.
Currently we have a furnace at ALSA in Greece running production on Red Mud
clean up.
