their courses.
To share practical ideas for creating them.
To provide participants with sites where they can
download materials and tools to make their own videos.
5. Introduction
Videos have traditionally been used in many schools
as a reward or to entertain students.
However, they can also be used as a very powerful
educational aid to enhance language instruction,
without taking the fun out of them, as some authors
argue, such as Williams & Lutes (2007); Maggs
(2005); Köksal (2004); and Stempleski (2000).
