3. 13th and 14th centuries.

Al-Andalus was
divided into small
kingdoms called
taifas. Muslims
became weaker and
Christians became
stronger.

Iberian Peninsula was
divided into five
kingdoms: Portugal,
Castilla, Aragón,
Navarra and Granada.
The only muslim
kingdom was Granada
Battle of
Granada,
1492. Iberian
Peninsula
became
christian.
Isabel from
Castilla and
Fernando from
Aragón, los
Reyes
Católicos.

19. Thanks to Los Reyes Católicos,
two important things happened
in 1492:

Peninsula became christian.
