Edward Scissorhands 1990 Edwardlooked human, but was left with scissors in the place of handsdue to the untimely death of hiscreator.
Batman Returns 1992   Darker and considerably more personal than itspredecessor, concerns were raised that the film was too scary for children. Catwoman, penguin.
TheNightmareBefore Christmas 1993       The film receivedpositive reviews for the film'sstop motion animation, musical scoreand original storyline.
The2000s
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 2005      The storyline concerns a young boy winninga tour through the most magnificent chocolate factory in the world, led by an eccentric candy maker.
2005 Corpse Bride      Was Burton's second stop-motion film. Burton was able to again use his familiar styles and trademarks, such as the complex interaction between light and darkness, and of being caught between two irreconcilable worlds.
Sweeney Todd      Adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's 1979 musical thriller. It re-tells the Victorian melodramatic tale of Sweeney Todd, an English barber who murders his customers with a straight razor and, with the help of his accomplice, Mrs. Lovett, turns their remains into meat pies.

Alice in Wonderland     Fantasy film directed by Tim Burton, which is an adaptation of the Lewis Carrollnovels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
