2. In 1620, the Mayflower sailed from Plymouth, England to “the New World.” Chapter 1 - Pilgrims Set Sail 102 people sailed on the mayflower. One person died and one was born. They didn’t have enough water or any bathrooms.

3. They made some rules and called them the Mayflower Compact. Chapter 1 - Pilgrims Set Sail It was very short and 41 men signed it

4. The Pilgrims landed in Cape Cod. Chapter 2 - The New World

5. They used the maps from John Smith and stepped out on Plymouth Rock. Chapter 2 - The New World

6. John Smith discovered the villages of Wampanoag. Chapter 3 - The Wampanoag

7. Wampanoag families lived in round houses called wetus. Chapter 3 - The Wampanoag

8. Many people led the Pilgrims through the hard times. Chapter 4 – Hard Times William Bradford was the new governor.

9. Chapter 4 – Hard Times Captain Myles Standish was a soldier whose wife died. He helped many people because he did not get sick.

10. Chapter 4 – Hard Times John Alden married Priscilla Mullins and lived in Plymouth then they moved to Duxbury.

11. The pilgrims decided to celebrate with a festival. Chapter 5 - The Big Old Feast They invited the Wampanoag.

13. Houses in Plymouth were made of wattle and dawb. Chapter 6 - Plymouth Grows

14. Plymouth grew and today it is a beautiful town. I like to visit gift shops and walk by the harbor. Chapter 6 - Plymouth Grows
