How much time do expect the homework to take each night? Which researcher have you heard of? What are the purposes you utilize for assigning homework? Would you be in favor of a No Homework Policy?

Recommendations Be up-to-date with current research in regard to homework Be careful and critical of the research findings Use professional judgment when issuing homework assignments The philosophy of homework should be administered or tailored to the students in your class If assigning homework make sure to follow specific guidelines to ensure that the homework is relevant and differentiated; and develop assignments that encourage learning and creativity, and doesn’t deter or turn students away from a positive learning experience Contribute to the students learning experience by providing constructive and timely feedback
