7. ISSUES IN THE U.S.
War on Drugs is an important issue in
the U.S. today. Some people consider the
world on Drugs insignificant but this is
untrue. Drugs effect so many people on a
daily basis, even more so then terrorist
attacks. Drugs have caused many issues
in the U.S. including increase in crime
rates. Drugs have been a major issue
Since the 80’s because of the drug lord Pablo Escobar. As a
result of the drug lord’s work the U.S. has taken many steps
To prevent drugs from coming into the U.S.
In recent weeks people have been very
Troubled Because the President has reduced
the Money going to the war on drugs.
Countless individuals and well as I see this
Having bad results.
8. DPC
While I was in The United States I founded the
DPC or Drug Prevention Campaign . It consists
of 20 or so millionaires and rich individuals,
these individuals will not be named as a safety
precaution. These individuals have signed
various documents and legal papers that
proves they are part of the DPC.
the members of DPC give a monthly
donation that goes towards the war
on drugs. I am very proud to be the
founder of DCP and I think it will
Be very helpful in the war on drugs.

10. PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
When I went to Canada I saw The
Parliament of Canada building.
This building is very important to
Canadian government. The
Parliament of Canada building is
one of the number one tourist
attractions in Canada. In the
House of Commons bills and laws
are passed so it is a very important
building.

12. CANADIAN FOOD(HUMAN
GEOGRAPHY)
Canada has two very popular foods: bacon and maple
syrup. Both of these foods are eaten often. Canadians love
food and are known for coming up with interesting
combinations such as sushi pizza. It has also been said
that,” Canadians like to eat healthier and ethnic foods,
while trying to balance their love for baked goods and
other comfort foods at the
sametime.”(http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/03/18/canadian-
food_n_2869764.html)
13. HEALTH CARE ISSUES IN CANADA
The Conference Board of Canada has
announced in recent in recent
months that they are unhappy with
their health care. The board said
that” the functioning of the health
care system is not configured or
operated in a way that helps it
achieve maximum effectiveness or
efficiency”. Also all of the health care
machines are from the 1960’s. The
people of Canada think that their
health care is not where it needs to be
for health care today. The Board
agreed and has said that ” the
current system that was built in the
60s is ill-equipped to efficiently support
this new delivery of health care.”
(Daniel Muzyka, Glen Hodgson, and
Gabriela

cashc/research/2012/inconvenient_tru
ths.aspx).
14. CANADIAN HEALTH CARE
In order for the health care in Canada
to get better the government needs to get
funding to purchase new equipment. The
people of Canada in a recent pole have
said that they want health care to be put
in front of everything else for the
problem to be solved. The government
needs to step up and get money for the
newer equipment in order for their
health care to improve and be where it is
supposed to be. Canada’s health care
equipment will and cannot take care of
the people of Canada in the way that
they need to be taken care of.

16. ITALY PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
While visiting Europe I went to Italy.
I saw many places in Italy but the
greatest of them was the Eiffel Tower.
The Eiffel tower was built by a man
named Eiffel for a world fair contest.
This fair was in honor of the of the 100th
year after the French Revolution. It took
2 years and a lot of people to build this
monument out of iron. The tower is 1060
Feet high and weighs 7000 tons! The Eiffel
Tower is truly amazing.

18. ISSUES IN EUROPE: BERLIN WALL
The Berlin Wall was made during a cold war in
Germany. The Berlin wall is in Berlin and still
stands today. The Germans or GDR started to
make the wall in 1961. The wall was built
between east and west Germany. It was built, "to
keep Western "fascists" from entering East
Germany and undermining the socialist state,
but it primarily served the objective of stemming
mass defections from East to West.” Anyone who
tried to cross the wall with out permission were
shot down by guards who patrolled the wall .The
wall remained in use till 1989 when the Germany
government decided that the wall was no longer
needed.

20. While in Russia I visited the Red
Square. The Red Square was an
awesome experience. There are
many things to do and see in the
Red Square. I chose to go there
because I wanted to see some of the
most well know sights in Russia.
The Red Square was built east of the Kremlin
Red Square was built around 15th centaury under order of Prince
Ivan III.
The Red Square contains: The Kremlin, GUM, Lobnoe Mesto,
Resurrection gate, Lenin Mausoleum, Kazan Cathedral, and St.
Basil’s Cathedral.
21. RUSSIAN LANGUAGE(HUMAN GEOGRAPHY)
The Russian language is spoken all over
Europe. The Russian language is
considered a major world language.
Russian is a very unique language. Most
people find Russian a very had language
to learn. Russian is based off the Greek
language and was made by two brothers.
The two brothers were named Cyril and
Methodius.
22. CHERNOBYL
Chernobyl was a was a city in the Ukraine. In 1986 their
nuclear power plant failed releasing radiation and
creating fires. The result was hundreds of deaths. Also
because of radiation over 2,000 people got cancer and
other diseases most resulting in death. The nuclear power
plant was incased in concrete and completely closed off.
Chernobyl was considered to be unsafe for people for a
long time. The government in recent years have finally
agreed to allow tourism to Chernobyl.

24. PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
When I visited East Asia on my trip around the
world I went to see the Great Wall of China. I
wanted to see the Great Wall because I have herd
a lot about it and have always wanted to see it
in person. If I ever went there I told myself I
would have a picnic on the wall and look out
over China. I finally got to do it when visiting
East Asia.
25. GREAT WALL OF CHINA
2145 miles long , which is the
longest man made structure in
the world.
Was built under the control of
Emperor Qin Shi Huang
Built in 600 B.C.
Was built to keep out possible
invaders.
26. RELIGION(HUMAN GEOGRAPHY)
East Asia has many religions. Religion is
very important to the people. Most of the
religions deal with peace and harmony.
Some of the major religions are:
Confucian, Taoism, Buddhism, and
Shinto. Most of these religions deal with
spiritual enlightenment.
27. ISSUE: DMZ
The DMZ is the Demilitarized Zone. The DMZ is located
along the 38th Parallel which divided s up North and
South Korea. The DMZ is 148 miles long and was
established in 1953. The government had guards
patrolling on each side to prevent people from crossing
over. People were shot if they were caught trying to cross
the DMZ. The DMZ is a tough situation that will take a
long time to resolve, especially with the North Korean
threats. Even though North and South Korea signed a
“peace treaty” they are anything but peaceful.

29. PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
While in Australia I went snorkeling in the
Great Barrier Reef. It was a great
opportunity and the reef was amazing.
There were so many different species of
animals and coral, it was beautiful. The
Great Barrier Reef was an awesome place to
go snorkeling for the first time!
30. THE GREAT BARRIER REEF
The Great Barrier Reef is
1500 miles long.
There are over 1800
different species of
animal and plant life.
The Great barrier
Reef is The largest
reef in the whole
World.
31. HISTORY( HUMAN GEOGRAPHY)
Australia has a very harsh climate. The
people, animals, and plants had to adapt to
this severe weather. The first Australians were
called Aborigines. The Aborigines lived
hundreds of years before the arrival of the
Europeans. The Europeans arrived to
establish a penal colony. The British brought
over their prisoners and exiled them to the
island of Australia. Most Australians today
are descendants of British criminals.
32. ISSUES IN AUSTRALIA: WHALING
whaling has become an issue in Australia today. In 1986
whaling was banned all over the world. Since whaling had
been popular in Australia many people were furious about
the ban. The Japanese were also furious and some people go
whaling illegally. The job to stop the Japanese whaling has
fallen upon the Australian government. Because of this there
has been many problems with stopping the Japanese, some
people have become rather violent. The Australian
government needs to step up and start patrolling the waters
near Japan. Without the Australian the Japanese will get
away with these illegal actions. The U.S. and other
surrounding countries need to give Australia funding to
help stop the whaling and join forces with them. To help with
this issue I have arranged a schedule for patrolling the
waters and looking out for potential whalers. Tomorrow I
will be boarding the Sea Shepard and helping the men from
the popular American TV show “Whale Wars” patrol and look
for illegal whalers.

34. PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
After visiting Australia I went to the
Caribbean. I traveled to several islands
including Puerto Rico, Grenada, and
the Virgin Islands. After touring the
magnificent beaches of the Caribbean I
went to Grenada to see an
extraordinary site. In Grenada they
have a life size underwater park. It was
a once in a lifetime opportunity to go
to an underwater park and I
thoroughly enjoyed it.
35. MOLINERE UNDERWATER PARK
Was built in 2006 by Jason DeCaires Taylor
It is the first underwater
sculpture park
It is located off the coast
of Grenada
One of the 25 wonders of
the world
36. CARIBBEAN FESTIVALS(HUMAN GEOGRAPHY)
In the Caribbean there are many festivals that
celebrate various heritages, activities, and historical
moments. Perhaps the most wide spread and greatest
festival is that of Canival. Carnival is a festival and
parade. The people dress up in lavish costumes for a
parade or paint themselves. There is a lot of music,
dancing, eating, singing, and various other activities.
The festival take place two days before ash Wednesday.
There are also many other festivals that each island
participates in. A few of the great
many festivals are: Champion of
Champions Boat Race, Junkanoo
Dominica World Creole Music
Festival, and Bermuda Big Game
Classic.
37. EMBARGO ON CUBA
Today there is an embargo on Cuba set on them by the
U.S. An embargo is an complete prohibition on
trading with Cuba. The embargo was put into place in
1962 by U.S. government officials and jurisdiction. The
U.S. has refused to raise the embargo until Cuba
becomes a democracy. This is because Cuba is a
communist country. There is not many ways to fix this
embargo on Cuba. The only way is to convince Cuba to
become a democracy. I have arranged a meeting
between the president of the United States and the
Cuban president Raúl Castro. They will be discussing
the benefit s of becoming a democracy and how it is in
the best interest for the people of Cuba. I can only hope
that Cuba will agree and become at peace with the
U.S.

39. PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
After I visited the Caribbean I went to Africa.
While in Africa I went on a safari in the
savannah. I went on a tour with the Venture
Safari Tours and Travel. The company is based
out of Nairobi, Kenya. I wanted to go on a
safari to see all of the different species of
animals living in the safari. I am an animal
lover and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The
Savannah is home to a variety and
abundance of animals and plants. The
Savannah takes up about 5 million square
miles and takes up about half of the continent.
There is a wet and dry season in the
Savannah.
41. ISSUE: AIDS
There are many issues in Africa but one of the
greatest is AIDS. Africa has the majority of AIDS
infected people in the world. Millions of people get
infected and die of AIDS every year. AIDS have
become an uncontrollable disease in Africa. One of
the reasons for this is poor health care equipment;
with poor funding they are forced to reuse needles.
As a result of this most people who are tested for
AIDS become infected by other people who take
blood test and are infected. When traveling to
Africa I gave a huge donation of needles and
syringes and volunteered at local hospitals. There
were so many sick people, it was devastating.

43. PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
When I went to Latin America I
visited the Coast of Venezuela. Latin
America and Venezuela are known
for their excellent chocolate and the
raw ingredients they use. There are
a ton of producers of chocolate in
Latin America. Most people make
money by growing and producing
cacao. Since I am a chocolate lover
I decided to go to El Ray’s chocolate
factory.
44. CHOCOLATE
cacao used to be a main product before oil
was discovered in Latin America
Venezuela is know for its fantastic raw
ingredients in their chocolate.
Chocolate in Venezuela is not an export
45. ISSUE: RAIN FORESTS
The rain forests in Latin America have been severely
damaged. This is due to deforestation and slash and
burning. The Rain Forests have been cut down and
burned. This is because of the growing population
and the attempt to make more room. Cutting down
the rain forest is very harmful and bad. This is
because rain forests make up less than six percent of
the earth. All though rain forests only make up a very
small portion of the earth they are home to more
than half of the species of animals on earth.
To help with this issue there has been a “debt-for-
nature-swap.” This is where environmentalist groups
pay off some of their governments debt and in return
they agree to save some of the rain forest. I enlisted
my services and was able to produce a lot of money
through a fundraising banquet I held. I am very
proud of the success of the banquet and hope that the
money will go to good use.

47. PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
When I was in the Middle East I went to
Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. I
went there for several reasons. I went
because it is the most modern and
successful place in the Middle East. Also
there are man made islands off the coast
of Dhabi. I went and stayed in the Palm
island. I stayed at a luxury hotel on one
of the small islands within the palm. I
stayed in a Panorama Deira Hotel.
48. PALM ISLAND
Palm Island is the
world’s largest man
made island.
Palm island was
constructed by Nakheel
Properties
Palm Island was built
to increase tourism in
the Middle East
49. CLOTHING(HUMAN GEOGRAPHY)
Clothes play an important part of Middle Easter culture
and religion. Most people in the Middle East are Muslim.
As a result of this women cover them selves from head to
toe. There are many different types and names of
clothing. Most women wear a dress, cloak, head covering,
and sometimes veil while in public. Most men wear a
Galabiyya and turban. Men and women dress very
modestly and don’t show much skin. This is because of
their religious and ethnic beliefs.
50. ISSUE: POPULATION RELOCATION
In the Middle East there is a big
population; most people are Muslim. As a
result of this there are a bunch of
“stateless nations.” Stateless Nations are
people who do not have a place of their
own to live. Two Stateless Nations are:
Kurds and Palestinians. The Palestinian
are stateless because they used to live in
Israel which now belongs to the Jews. The
Kurds are the largest group of people
without a place to live. The Middle
Eastern government needs to find a place
for these stateless nations. The people need
a place they can call their own like the
Jews.
