Topic:
 Art: Romanticism in poetry.
Objectives:
 Through this web quest, you will be reading about poetry in Romanticism
and one example from one of the most renowned authors.
 You have to create a short poem which reflects features of Romanticism.
Process:
 You will work in groups of four using the links provided by the teacher, but
also you can use extra material (books, magazines, encyclopedias,
articles, etc.). The task will be done in a two period lesson.
 You have to answer the questions in a word document based on the
materials. Then, write a poem considering the information from your
reading. These documents have to be sent to the teacher by e-mail.
Guiding questions:
1. When and where did this movement take place?
2. What are its main characteristics?
3. How is Romanticism different from other literary movements?
4. Who are the most renowned romantic authors?
5. Read the poem “The Lamb” by William Blake. Identify romantic elements.
