the following guidance, evaluate it as though you were going to use it for an annotated bibliography.
Who has written the work?
Is it the theorists themselves,
or is it a
critique/commentary?
Is there an original text by
Black and Wiliam in the
references which you will
need to find? If so, write
down the reference.
Who do you think is the
intended audience for the
work?
General public?
Education professionals?
Does the work cover one side
of a debate or a range of
views?
Do you think this is a recent
piece of work on the topic?
Comparison of information for an annotated bibliography
In your groups, compare the information you have evaluated.
How do the pieces link
together?
Do some pieces critique
others? How?
Do different pieces show a
progression in the work of
Black and Wiliam once they
are viewed together?
Write an accurate reference and an annotation for a bibliography on assessment for learning, based
on the item you have and the evaluation techniques covered today.
