East Cary Middle School provides media and technology resources and instruction to support 21st century learning, including lessons on information literacy, digital citizenship, and internet safety. The media specialist collaborates with teachers to incorporate these skills into core and elective classes, and also offers enrichment activities during individualized learning time. Students and staff have access to technology, online resources, and training in accordance with acceptable use policies and procedures that govern equipment use, copyright, and digital communications.
