their way.

 Practice…
 Thank, separately, both the cashier &
bagger at the grocery store
 Send a hand-written thank you note when
you receive a gift however small
 Make “thank you” a common phrase in
your vocabulary

5. My Gratitude Journal
 Start a gratitude journal
 Dateit and record one to three things
every night for which you are grateful
during the day

6. Self-Regulation Exercise
 Stress does not equal trauma
 Practice
calming responses before you
need them
 Goal:put response in muscle memory
before you need it
