Environmental Education through Enquiry and Technology: The Case of the GreeNET Poject - Vassilis Protonotarios, Giannis Stoitsis, Nikolaos Marianos and Giorgos Papoutsis - #OCCAthens
The GreeNET project aims to link environmental education to careers through inquiry-based learning and technology. It seeks to train the next generation on issues like sustainable development and climate change. GreeNET will contribute to green learning by providing an inventory of best practices, online resources, and tools for teachers. The inventory allows users to find green resources, get ideas for classroom activities, and author their own best practices. Teachers can also create customized green online portals for their schools using the School Portal Generator. The GreeNET Moodle provides a space for teachers to upload and manage online courses. The overall goal is to help teachers incorporate green topics into their teaching and properly prepare students for green careers.
