2. The
Expectations
of our Film
To find our target audience we
compiled a questionnaire, from this
we had a clear idea on whom and
how we’re going to attract this target
audience. They allowed us to
understand what really appealed to
them, such as the situations and
actions characters take in social
realist films. This allow us to make
sure we include everything we got
out of our research and insert this
knowledge into creative ideas in our
film.
3. The Target
Audience
Through our research we found that the ideal target
audience would be young adults with an age range of 16 to
about 25 of both genders, as they seem to enjoy gritty and
thrilling dramas. The social problems portrayed in our film
are easily relatable and seen often in everyday life.
We used a precursor of opinions on films such as Adulthood
and Kidulthood, as these are quite similar to what we were
aiming for.
4. How our film
Represents/Relates to
this Group
We aimed to portray a
stereotypical view of
young people in South
London involved in crime.
The average age of the actors is
about 17-18 representing the ages
effected by drugs and gang activity
within the South London area.
