Day 1
A- I am teaching a Spanish 1 class in a public high school. The students ages range from
14 to 18. Their are 20 students in the class 11 girls and 9 boys. Half the class is African
American.
S- The students will learn about Spanish subjects and about the verbs "ser" and "estar".
They will do this by using a Voki, QR, Photo, and do an activity when the walk around
the classroom writing a sentence inside of each subject. They will also compose a tweet
on Twitter of one sentence describing me and hashtag it #MissMaddow. By the end of
the day they will be able to do this with 100% accuracy.
S- I will show the students the Voki, QR, and Photo, and already have the subjects placed
around the room. They will walk around the room and write a sentence that corresponds
with each subject. At the end of class they will write a tweet that describes me using the
verb "ser" and use the #MissMaddow.
Media- Voki, QR, Photo, Twitter, Pinterest
Materials- Posterboard, markers, smart phone, computer, projector
U- The students will pay attention and listen to the voki, QR, and Photo, and the
explanation behind them. They will participate in the subject activity, and write in every
subject. They will also be involved in the Tweeting.
R- The students will participate in all of the activities especially the Subject activity and
the twitter activity.
E- The students will be evaluated on their tweet.
