Group 14 has outlined a mentoring activity to assist new and returning eTwinners. The objectives are to help eTwinners navigate etwinning, provide motivation and project ideas, and offer technical and methodological support. Activities include in-person seminars on how etwinning works followed by online meetings, showing exemplar projects, discussions, tutorials, and creating an online forum for questions. Group members will take on roles like coordinating peer activities, explaining quality labels, creating the question forum, presenting projects, giving technical support, and presenting etwinning kits. The goal is a supportive community to help eTwinners begin and continue their projects.
2. Objectives
• To assist new eTwinners in their journey through the eTwinning wonderland
• To motivate/remotivate etwinners who have not taken part in a project for a long time
• To show new etwinniners how etwinning live works
• To present project ideas/outlines
• To encourage about the quality of the projects
• To help technically and methodologically to different projects issues.
• To create a forum or a blog where participants could ask their questions
• to learn from each other
4. Activities
- face to face seminars where to explain how etwinning and etwinning live work (through showing
the website, the national website, some projects, talking about quality labels, and some apps that
can be used in the projects, …). This seminar can be followed by online meetings so that new
etwinners can share ideas and get assistance
- show good practices, quality projects and etwinning kits to inspire and motivate
- group discussion/ questions and answers about these projects
- peer activities, training and reviews
- quizzes or quests on the different parts of the Twinspace and how to use it / them
- short tutorials about simple tools easy to use
- create a ‘mooc project’
- Introductory webinars about different topics
- Forum to solve the common questions and helpdesk to solve technical problems.
5. Who does what?
Alexandre Pérez: coordinate and tutorize peer activities, training and reviews
Julien Pastre: coordinate the mooc project
Arrate Ugalde: prepare the online meetings after the onlite event, in order etwinners to feel accompanied at the beginning of their journey.
Marcin Hościłowicz: start a helpline channel online with mentors guide etwinners with some detailed problems ( with some mentors staying
online at a given time)
Chiara Sabatini: I can explain the criteria for the Quality Labels, and/or how a chat session in a project works or any other thing needed.
Michèle Pigret : create the forum where participants could ask their questions and answer them or give clues where to find the solution(s)
Elin Stefánsdóttir: The technician -the one that gives the microphone,camera.
Ruth Romsøy: present project ideas/outlines. Show some projects.
Guillermo Medrano: Take part on the webinars. Solve the technical questions at the help desk or Forum (enrolment, Twinspace 2.0, ICTs, and
web2.0 Applications).
Theodora Gkeniou: present etwinning kits for various subjects and levels (primary, secondary, inclusive education etc) during the onsite
