• This is because Spain is
surrounded by the sea,
so lots of people can go
fishing.

• Lots of people in Spain eat
paella.
• Paella is a rice dish.
• There are 3 main types of
paella:
– Valencian
– Seafood
– Mixed
• The main ingredients as
well as rice are:
– Meat / fish
– Vegetables
– Beans

4. Tapas
• Some people go to bars
after work to have
tapas.
• Tapas is the name for
portions of different
snacks.
• Examples are:
– Chicken in batter
– Meatballs
– Garlic bread
