Department of commerce and management studies, located in the picturesque campus of University of Calicut, continue to be the Centre of excellence in the management education in the state of Kerala. The department started functioning in 1972 and responding to the changing need and demands of the environment started full-time MBA programs in 1982. It holds the distinction of being one of the oldest management institute in the state. The optimum student faculty ratio provides better atmosphere for close interaction among students and faculties. The institute is equipped with a computer lab with round the clock internet facility. Ranked third in Kerala.
