13. 1. Most people are “morning people”
We have a 24-hour circadian
rhythm that responds to light.
During the day the hormone
melatonin increases and you get
drowsy. Light in the morning
reverses the effect and fills you with
new energy, hope, and focus.
15. 2. Your body needs exercise
Our body is build on a chassis from the
Palaeozoic age when all we did was
hunt and hibernate. Nothing has
changed, except we don’t hunt and we
“hibernate” too much. Every day you
need a healthy dose of exercise to stave
off dementia, stroke, and heart
disease, slim the belly and boost your
energy, diet, and alertness (in case of
saber-tooth tigers).
17. 3. There are less distractions in the morning
During the day, children, phones,
appointments, email, and work get
your attention. But the morning time…
that could be all yours.

Complete your planning with cut-off times
like: 5:30 write blog,
6:15 fast walk with dog,
6:45 shower, breakfast,
7:30 leave.
24. You want to be fully rested (most
studies recommend 7-8 hours
sleep) and alert for the
MORNING CLUB. If you plan to
rise one hour earlier - go to bed
one hour earlier.
3. Go to bed earlier
26. The Mayo Clinic recommends a
consistent sleep-wake cycle for
optimal health. Stick with this new
routine for at least three weeks.

Don’t let visiting relatives,
staying out late, or being
tired throw you off. Your
job is to practice your
morning routine until it
becomes a habit.
