During the filming of our sequence we tried to
  use and develop the typical form of an opening
 sequence at the equilibrium stage. We started off
     with an establishing shot to introduce the
 location, then a long shot of the protagonist. We
      used non-diegetic music which helped to
introduce the genre of horror to the audience. We
    used no dialogue which is typical of a horror
  opening sequence, creating a mystery about the
    victim. However, we developed this by using
     some sound effects added in like branches
              snapping and screaming.
We used the typical conventions of a real film by
 having a female victim in our film. However, we
     also challenged this by having a female
  antagonist which is not typical of our genre of
film. We used the convention of a lone woods as
our location which is seen commonly in real films
  and opening sequences of our genre. We also
   used “Creepy” background music and sound
 effects in our sequence which are both used in
          real media products like ours.
