2. I used this photo to show the
article I have created for my
magazine called “Art students
receive incredible results” I
think this is a good picture to
use as we can see over the
girls shoulder at very good
and detailed piece of artwork,
so we know this picture is
related to the article.
3. This image is of a 6th form
student doing some work.
This relates to my
magazine because not
only as it is a school
based magazine but also
to one of the articles
“exam success for the
parents” The image shows
that if parents make sure
their child is working at
school as well as at home
they will achieve good
results.
4. I have used this image to represent the article
“Kirsten Brown goes to Cambridge” It shows the
girl who the article is about stood in the school.
We know the article is about her because she is
on the front cover as well.
5. I have used this image on the
front cover of my magazine as
the main image. This is
because the main coverline of
the magazine is “Kirsten Brown
goes to Cambridge” I thought I
would use this as the picture as
the background colours are
vibrant and the girl whom the
article is about is looking at the
camera and smiling therefore
will make the image more
personal to the reader. As well
as this, the image relates to the
target audience because it
shows a happy student who
looks willing to work and happy
to do well, which is what
parents want to see when they
are reading a school magazine.
6. This is another picture to
illustrate “Kirsten Brown goes
to Cambridge” it shows the girl
stood on the steps outside her
school. This is to show this is
the girl who has achieved good
enough results to go to the
University of her Choice. The
girl is also looking straight at
the camera and smiling which
gives more of a personal feel
to the target audience.
7. I have used this picture as
the background to the
contents page because it
shows all the conventions of
a school library which then
also goes with the article
“Library refurbishment” the
lighting is good for the
picture and we can clearly
see what the image contains
which is a 6th form student
looking at books. This makes
the school seem more
professional because it is
showing that students
actually want to study.
