Janne started Intunex in 2008 with the goal of changing how people connect, share, and develop expertise within organizations. Intunex developed an online platform called xTune to enable "swarm work." Over the next few years, Intunex grew from a small startup operating off of grants and consulting work to acquiring paying customers and expanding internationally. Key milestones included launching beta and new versions of xTune, winning prestigious awards, and bringing on new team members to focus on sales, marketing, and product development. By 2013, Intunex was serving global customers and poised to take its service and business "to the next level" under a new name.
