 To know some things that we can recycle
 To sort real objects according to things that can be used, reduced and recycle
 To identify opposite words
 To break up sounds in words according to syllables
 To arrange objects according to size and length
 To explore different combinations that make ten
 To practice subtraction

to do is to identify what is the object.

Activity 1: Teacher Supervised Activity
Game: Sorting Game
Procedure:
 Children will sort real objects into
three piles:
 Ask them to explain why a particular
item should be recyclable,
biodegradable and non-biodegradable
Independent
Game: Opposite Connect
Procedure:
 Prepare the deck of opposite words
with 5-10 simple opposite pairs
 Shuffle the deck on matching cards
 Each child will open two cards and
check if both pair of words are
opposite.
 When he/she opens two cards and
they do not match, he return it on the
deck and the next player takes his/her
turn.
 The game ends when all the cards have
been match

Game: How Many Syllables
 Prepare picture cards of words that
hace 1, 2, 3 syllables
 Give each child a picture cards
 Ask him/her how many syllables he can
hear in the word. Ask him to clap out
the syllable
Example: “elephant”- e/le/phant/-3
claps
 If he/she is able to get the number of
syllables correctly he/she can put the
card in the corresponding number box.
 The game ends when all the cards are
in their right boxes.
C. Meeting Time 2
Class, lets sing the “Ako ay May Ulo na
Aking Ginagalaw”
D. Supervised Recess
Okay class, you may take your snacks.
Remember to pray before eating your
snacks.

Teacher Supervised Activity
Now, I have here objects, you have to all
do is to arrange the objects according to size
and length.
Procedure:
 Rumble and give 3 to 4 object to each
 Player arrange the object in order to its
size and length
 The aim of the game is to make a set of
5 to 10 objects in sequence.
Independent
Game: Make Ten
Procedure:
 Give each child a playing board
 Teacher take turn throwing the die
 Players gets as many counters as the
numbers comes out
 Player who completes his/her board
wins the game.
Now get your sticks and lets “Practice
Subtraction”
Procedure:
 The teacher will how many sticks are
being subtract from their sticks
 The game continue
G. Indoor/ Outdoor Activity
“The Boat is Sinking”
When the teacher says, “The Boat is Sinking
group yourselves into 4” children looks for
companies of 4. The child/children who
cannot form a group of the announced
number will lose their turn and sit down. The
game continues as soon as there will be 2
children left.

Calaque I – Objectives  To know some things that we can recycle  To sort real objects according to things that can be used, reduced and recycle  To identify opposite words  To break up sounds in words according to syllables  To arrange objects according to size and length  To explore different combinations that make ten  To practice subtraction II – Subject Matter A. Content Focus: Caring for Our Community B. Story: Si Emang Engkantada at Ang Tatlong Haragan C. Reference: National Kindergarten Curriculum Guide 2011, Week 36, p. 190 – 202 D. Materials: pictures, cutouts, real objects, etc. III – Learning Activity Teacher’s Activity A. Meeting Time 1 Prayer “Angel ko” Greeting Song “Tiktilaok” Day Check Class, what day today? Weather Check Class, what is the weather today? Message: There are some things that we can recycle. Question: What things can we recycle? B. Work Period 1 1. IV – Engagement Activity Activity 1: Teacher Supervised Activity Game: Sorting Game Procedure:  Children will sort real objects into three piles:  Ask them to explain why a particular item should be recyclable, biodegradable and non-biodegradable Independent Game: Opposite Connect Procedure:  Prepare the deck of opposite words with 5-10 simple opposite pairs  Shuffle the deck on matching cards  Each child will open two cards and check if both pair of words are opposite.  When he/she opens two cards and they do not match, he return it on the deck and the next player takes his/her turn.  The game ends when all the cards have been match Can Plastic bottle Paper Yes teacher.   • 3. Game: How Many Syllables  Prepare picture cards of words that hace 1, 2, 3 syllables  Give each child a picture cards  Ask him/her how many syllables he can hear in the word. Ask him to clap out the syllable Example: “elephant”- e/le/phant/-3 claps  If he/she is able to get the number of syllables correctly he/she can put the card in the corresponding number box.  The game ends when all the cards are in their right boxes. C. Meeting Time 2 Class, lets sing the “Ako ay May Ulo na Aking Ginagalaw” D. Supervised Recess Okay class, you may take your snacks. Remember to pray before eating your snacks. Understand? Very good! E. Story Time: Si Emang Engkantada at ang Tatlong Haragan 1. Priming Activity Class, do you want me to read a story? 2. Pre – Reading a. Unlocking of Difficulties Haragan b. Motivation May mga haragan ba na mga bata dito? 3. During Reading Class, I have here a story entitled “Si Emang Engkantada at ang Tatlong Haragan” Listen carefully as I read the story. Understand? Procedure:  Rumble and give 3 to 4 object to each  Player arrange the object in order to its size and length  The aim of the game is to make a set of 5 to 10 objects in sequence. Independent Game: Make Ten Procedure:  Give each child a playing board  Teacher take turn throwing the die  Players gets as many counters as the numbers comes out  Player who completes his/her board wins the game. Now get your sticks and lets “Practice Subtraction” Procedure:  The teacher will how many sticks are being subtract from their sticks  The game continue G. Indoor/ Outdoor Activity “The Boat is Sinking” When the teacher says, “The Boat is Sinking group yourselves into 4” children looks for companies of 4.
