Simple is best. Having too much on the slide can have your audience distracted and most likely tuning you out while you are speaking.
Use one word or sentence that sums up your point of that slide. Too many words again will distract your audience. Also it will show that you know what you are talking about because you aren’t reading everything off the slide.
At first it seems cool but after a few slides it gets annoying. Again you don’t want your slides being a distraction.
Use photos that have high quality that way they stand out and can be seen clear even from afar.
Templates don’t scream “original”. Step out of the box and have your slideshow stand out.
Simple graphs give off enough information without using so many words.
It’s easier to read, especially to the people all the way in the back of the room.
Again you want your slides to stand out. Colors give your slides life.
Lets face it we live in the 21st century, media is our weakness and it catches your audiences attention.
Make sure everything flows. Jumping around will confuse your audience, you want to make sure they are on the same page as you are.
