1. FINAL PROJECT & PRESENTATION WLPI: Module 7 Review Thursday, March 31st - 6:30pm
2. Learning Objectives Complete a project that provides practical application of the concepts covered in WLPI. Write a report that summarizes learnings from the project and their relationship to WLPI. Must be approved by Coach. Deliver 10 minute presentation and receive feedback.
5. Project Coach Role of Project Coach Help to define final project Coach and encourage participants Determine if participant meets requirements Completes Project Coach Report Form Give feedback to participant
6. Project Coach Participant Responsibilities Make contact with Project Coach Discuss project ideas Use Project Coach as a resource Submit written report to Coach for review Request signed Approval Form Submit signed Approval Form and report on May 6th
10. PROJECT Relates to topic covered in WLPI Examples Conducting a needs assessment program to make it more interactive Updating an instructor guide Designing a new training program Creating an evaluation tool to measure training effectiveness
11. REPORT Most emphasis on REPORT 3 to 5 pages Summarizes what you learned Reviewed and approved by Coach before submission Submitted to Tari/Joie on May 6th – Module 7
12. REPORT Should include What you did that was effective What you would do differently next time What part of the WLPI was most helpful How will you use what you leaned on the job
13. REPORT - Outline FOLLOW OUTLINE First 1 to 2 pages on Background and Approach Use section headings as indicated
14. PRESENTATION Delivered during Module 7 – May 6th 10 minute maximum – you will be TIMED Goal Give brief description of your project Share what you learned You will receive verbal and written feedback
16. PRESENTATION Materials AV needs Projector/screen provided Will need your own laptop (share laptop?) Can use PPT – but don’t have to Games, Ice Breakers Flip Charts – let Joie know Handouts Supplies
17. PRESENTATION 10 minute presentation Timer will signal 5 min, 2 min, 1 min, Wrap Up Presenter will share 1 thing did well 1 thing to improve on, do differently 10 minute feedback session 2 minimum will offer feedback
