Oliver Wragg is the Commercial Director of the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) which operates the world's leading test site for marine energy technologies. EMEC provides independently accredited testing, demonstration, and verification services for organizations developing tidal, wave, and other ocean energy conversion technologies. Since 2004, EMEC has hosted numerous developers conducting long-term testing of their devices to gather data on installability, survivability, reliability, maintainability, and operability in real sea conditions in order to drive down costs and overcome regulatory barriers to the commercialization of marine energy technologies.
