1) The document is an invitation from Lady E Hastings Primary School for parents of children in Years 1 and 2 to attend a workshop on supporting their children with spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPaG). 2) The workshop will be held on Wednesday January 13th at 2:15pm or 6:30pm and will discuss year group expectations in SPaG and ways parents can help their children further at home. 3) Parents are asked to indicate which time they can attend, or provide alternative dates and times if unable to make the scheduled workshop.

Dear Parents,
Thank you for supporting your child to complete their weekly SPaG homework tasks and helping
them to reflect upon the marking and feedback given. Many of children’s accelerated progress can
be attributed to the additional practicing and consolidation of skills at home.
To support you and your child further we invite you to an information session where we will discuss
year group expectations in Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar and ways how you can assist your
child’s learning further.
We will be running this information session twice as we hope to engage all parents, if you are
unable to join us please inform us of an alternative dates and times.
