Notes de l'éditeur

  1. Good Morning Wendell Middle School. Welcome to the 2013/2014 school year. Today I am going to cover the attendance program at Wendell Middle School.
  2. Our Goal at Wendell Middle School is to have all students on time and in school everyday!
  3. Attendance is considered mandatory. It is the law that students must attend a school. Breaking this law could result in you and/oryour parents being taken to court. Only certain absences are considered excusable. Examples of excused absences are as follows:Illnesses or injuryMedical or dental appointments Religious observationAnd don’t forget you must turn in a note, to your homeroom teacher, within 2 days for the absence to be considered excused. So if you are sick and do not turn in a note it will be considered unexcused.
  4. Here are some of the elements of our attendance program: The AttenDance, Our Tardy program which begins on October 29 and our sign in and sign out policy.
  5. If you are here after 7:30, you are late to school and will be considered tardy to class unless the tardy is excused. Tardy notes are only considered excused if they are from a doctor, dentist, or other medical professional.
