Tryouts for a sports team will be held November 28th and 29th from 4:15-6:00pm at Shelton Fields near the tennis courts. Players must have a physical on file to tryout. See Coach Ashley or Coach Tollison with any questions. A Clemens culinary arts student won first place at a cupcake competition for their "Wizard of Oz" themed display. Upcoming school events include a performance of a play tonight, a 5k run/walk on November 19th, and a veterans day ceremony on November 10th honoring military service members.

Alvarado won the title of "Most
Creative" in the Texas Cupcake Battle
this weekend.
Tavo's "Wizard of Oz" themed display
beat out 1200 other cupcakes and over
120 competitors from all over Texas to
take the coveted ribbon.

Samuel Clemens High School will have a Veteran’s Day
ceremony on November 10th at 9 A.M. in the Beard gym.
Our student body, faculty and staff, ROTC department, and
band members will honor all those who have served
honorably in the military. We appreciate the bravery,
sacrifices, and contributions to the United States national
security.
All Veterans, community members, parents, and students are
invited to attend. We ask that all visitors check into the office
