4. THESIS STATEMENT The thesis statement is included inside the introduction. The sentence that grabs the attention of the reader. It can be in form of a question.

5. MAIN BODY Deals with the major ideas that support the thesis statement. It consists of three paragraphs Each paragraph must have a separate idea 1st paragraph – one idea and three supporting details 2nd paragraph – one idea and three supporting details 3rd paragraph – one idea and three supporting details Each paragraph must have explanations and if necessary examples. Each paragraph must have 5 sentences or more.

6. CONCLUSION The end of the essay. It must be a paragraph. (5 sentences or more) It is like a summary of what the essay is about. Maybe an observation or discussion or a solution about what you wrote on the body.

7. ClASS WORK Think about a topic that you would like to write about. (2 or 3 ideas) In a paper: Write one small introduction. At least 3 sentences. Write one sentence for each body paragraph. At least 3 sentences. Write one small conclusion. At least 3 sentences.
