My son colored a Flat Stanley for a school book project. He sent his Flat Stanley on a plane to DC with his Dad. His Dad took the pictures of Flat Stanley's adventures in DC.

1. Hi Seth’s 3 rd Grade Class! It’s me…Flat Stanley. Seth sent me to Washington DC with his Dad to meet President Obama. It is just a week after our new President’s inauguration…let’s just crawl through this fence and go meet him.

2. I am running across the White House lawn…it looks like the President is just about to leave in his car. Wait Mr. President!

3. I am hiding behind this bush…the Secret Service are having a meeting. I will just wait here for the President and then pop out to meet him.

6. It is! I will just run after this car until it stops!

8. What a wonderful trip I had to see our new President at our Nation’s Capitol! Have a wonderful school year. Love, Flat Stanley
