8. STaR Chart The purpose of developing the STaR Chart is to assist all classroom teachers in assessing needs and setting goals for using technology, in the classroom, to support student achievement. One way the chart is useful is in fulfilling requirements of No Child Left Behind and Title II
9. STaR Chart Other areas the STaR Chart is useful: Assists in fulfilling Part D that all teachers should be technology literate and integrate technology into content areas across the curriculum. The legislation also requires that all students should be technology literate by the time they leave the eighth grade.
14. Results and Reports Since its introduction over 172,039 teachers have completed the chartin the 2004-2005 school year. More than 172,783 completed it in the 2005-2006 school year.

19. CAMPUS SUMMARY According to the STaR Chart, my campus’ greatest strength is Infrastructure for Technology with an Advanced Technology level rating. The greatest weakness is education preparation and development.
