RF Based Wireless Voice Controlled
Household device activation and control
system
This project is designed to control the home appliances
through voice (on/off) control as dictated by the person “Switch on
Fan”, Switch Off Light” etc. The Voice Recognition involves
HM2007 IC which is dedicated to process the voice inputs. The
voice inputs is processed by HM2007 IC and the outputs are given
through Wireless using an Encoder.
Another unit is used to decode the wireless inputs and send it
to the appropriate devices for controlling.
Master Controller:
A pic Micro controller will act as a master controller for the
switching of devices.
Voice Controller:
A voice said in front of the mic is converted to text by the
Voice Recognition IC HM2007 and is fed as a input to the
controller, so the controller reacts to it.

Software Driver in Hitech C
This is a software tool used to control the angular position
i.e., to send specified pulses with controlled timing to vary the
speed as when and where required.

Now-a-days we are in need to avoid wastage of power in home. As more and more consumer electronics and home appliances are deployed and the size of them is becoming large, power consumption in home area tends to grow. Moreover, useless power consumption occurs during day time and also when the human being is not present in the room. So through this project we are overcoming the above mentioned threat by using various sensors to enhance security and to save power. In this system, zigbee as wired or wireless networks are used to transfer the control information and the measured power. zigbee is a low-cost, low-power, wireless mesh networking proprietary standard. The low cost allows the technology to be widely deployed in wireless control and monitoring applications, the low power-usage allows longer life with smaller batteries, and the mesh networking provides high reliability and larger range. The user can also check the power consumption of the home appliances through the remote control unit. The rule of thumb for the length a data cable depends on speed of the data, quality of the cable. Zigbee transmitter transmits the signal through a wireless communication and it covers a distance of about 10-100 meters. A liquid crystal display (LCD) is a thin, flat panel used for electronically displaying information such as text, images, and moving pictures. LCD is used to represent the home appliance which is working on the receiver side.

Abstract : In the recent years, the Home Automation systems has seen a rapid changes due to introduction of various wireless technologies The explosion in the wireless technology has seen the emergence of many standards, especially in the industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) radio band. ZigBee is an IEEE 802.15.4 standard for data communications with business and consumer devices. Zigbee is targeted at applications that requires low data rate, long battery life, and secure networking. Zigbee has a defined rate of 250 kbits/s, best suited for periodic or intermittent data or a single signal transmission from a sensor or input device. The wireless home Automation systems is supposed to be implemented in existing home environments, without any changes in the infrastructure. The automation centers on recognition of voice commands and uses low-power ZigBee wireless communication modules along with microcontroller. This system is most suitable for the elderly and the disabled persons especially those who live alone and since recognize voice so it is secure. The home automation system is intended to control all lights and electrical appliances in a home or office using voice commands. So in this paperwork our aim is to designed a voice recognition wireless ZigBee based home automation system. Keywords - Home automation, Microcontroller , Voice Recognition, ZigBee, Power Supply.

Recently, voice becomes one of the methods commonly used to control the electronic appliances, because of easily being reproduced by human compared to other efforts needed to operate to control some other appliances. There are many places which are hard or dangerous to approach by human and there are many people with disabilities do not have the dexterity necessary to control a keypad or a joystick on electrical devices. The aim of this study is to build a mobile robotic system, which can be controlled by analyzing the human voice commands. The robot will identify the voice commands and take action based on received signal. In general, the robotic system consists of the voice recognition module (AD-VR3) which serves as the ear that will listen and interpret the voice command, while the Arduino serve as the brain of the system that will process and coordinate the correct output of the input command to control the robot motors to perform the action.
