3. Main
objectives
• I will be teaching the 20 students about Lemony Snicket’s A
Series of Unfortunate Events, the first three books (A Bad
Beginning,The Reptile Room, andTheWideWindow). Students
will be able to do all the following: Identify all 5 literary
elements, conduct independent research at a basic level, and
showcase their research in a group manner.They will write
summaries, watch videos about the books, write a blog and
respond to classmates blog, make a Facebook page for one of
the main characters, and watch youtube videos on the 5
elements, and create a robot with one of the 5 elements.
Students will complete all this within 5 days with 75-85%
accuracy.
