11. WISE KIDS and Bridgend Healthy Schools Survey of Year 7 pupils (11 and 12 year olds) On line questionnaire aimed to find out: - how year 7 pupils from Bridgend Secondary Schools use the Internet and their mobile phones - their understanding of the Internet environment - their understanding of how to keep themselves safe when using the Internet and mobile technologies 1519 pupils completed the online survey fully, of whom 73% were aged 12, and 27% were aged 11 at the time of the survey. There was also an approximately even balance of boys and girls - (51%boys, 49% girls)
