your office, increase your productivity, save time and
ease connections across the city or across the nation.
7. Preparing for your Meeting
• Turn off any programs that may interrupt or
distract from the Webinar.
• Turn off any streaming media applications
• Have the documents you wish to share
ready to be accessed in one or two clicks.

8. Managing Your meeting
• Arrive early to greet the attendees as they
arrive and start the Webinar on time.
• Provide an agenda prior to the Webinar
• Inform attendees of how to be involved in
the webinar
• Consider having another organizer help
manage and monitor questions and
answers.
• End the Webinar clearly

• Polling is used to ask your audience questions-
• Chat- Listen only mode use the text box
• Camera- Comb your hair- Show your face
• Banter- Turn off the listen only mode and open
up the mike
• Drawing- Use the drawing tools to highlight-
circle- point to
18. Use a planning tool – to set the schedule
• Include the types of interaction that you
want
• Always keep in mind your purpose-
information vs interaction
• Timing
19. The middle of your meeting should be the
bulk of your content
• Never go more than 10 minutes with an
audience check in or interactive activity
• Consider Universal Design
• Allow 10 minutes at the end for Q and A
• Don’t let one person’s technology stop the
webinar MOVE ON!!
