1. Thriller/Crime- Psychological thriller
I decided to watch a thriller and psychological thriller film. The two movies I watched
was Super 8, which is a sci-fi, mystery thriller and Mindhunters, which is a psychological
crime, mystery thriller. Both of movies was very good as they both have tension that
make you want to watch it and find out what happens next. These films will help me with
my movies as it will give me ideas of how to put tension in my film.
What is Super 8 about?
In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness disastrous train
crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident.
Shortly after, unusual disappearances and mysterious events begin to take place in
town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth.
What is Mindhunters about?
A group of seven FBI trainees is sent to an isolated island for the final stage of their
training period under the direction of the odd Jake Harris (Val Kilmer), who uses
questionable methods. However, they are attacked and killed by a serial killer that could
be one of the team members. The tension increases amidst the group with the lack of
confidence on each other.
